How can Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and other feedback sensors be successfully integrated into Rescape’s DR.VR platform?

Rescape Ltd has benefited from financial support from the Welsh Government’s SMARTCymru programme, which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

The title of the project is 'How can Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and other feedback sensors be successfully integrated into Rescape’s DR.VR platform?'

DR.VR is a virtual reality (VR) distraction therapy product that is being used successfully in a range of clinical settings throughout Wales and across the UK. From feasibility work undertaken by Rescape, as part of a Clwstwr project, we uncovered a need and opportunity to explore the role of sensor technologies in VR in our healthcare products. This project aims to utilise heart rate variability (HRV) and other sensors into the DR.VR product.
